We are very pleased to announce that we will be running the very popular Millennium Bridge Race this year, a little later than usual, on 1 September 2010.  The 2.5k race will start at 18:45, the faster 5k race will start at 19:00 and the slower 5k race will follow at 19:15.  Click here for further details, an application form and some pictures:

The Route

Both the 2.5K & 5K courses start on the west side of the river Ouse, adjacent to the Ouse Bridge. From here they continue south along the side of river until the Millennium bridge. The 2.5km route then crosses the river via the bridge and then heads north along the east side and finishes just on the north side of Ouse bridge. Whereas the 5K course continues around into the park and completes 2 circuits of the park, prior to crossing the river and heading north. The 5k course also finishes just north of Ouse bridge. The route is run on paths, is relatively flat and traffic free.
